What a surprising tale with twists and turns. The integration of video segments helped build the world and showed Wylder’s acting range and character chops (and makeup and wig skills). I loved the history lesson about forgotten female deities and how their impact could have created a more equitable, loving, and just world. We also got to hear some impressive vocals with the goddess loops. Loved this show.
What I didn't like
Would love this to be longer! Give her a bigger budget and a bigger stage!
My overall impression
A perfect concoction of magic, queerness, history, theology, and trauma. This was a dense hour of a play that flew by. While heavy in subject matter, Wylder kept the show light and playful. A Fringe must!!
