What I liked
I enjoyed all the different elements she used to tell the story, from tarot cards to sound loops to video and visuals. I was with her the whole time!
What I didn't like
Personal stories like this are really hard to stay present for sometimes. Possibly incorporate more physical/visual/sound cues to help with parts of the story that are difficult to recall (which was already done, but maybe a couple more?). Even so, she handled it so well!
My overall impression
I’m so glad I saw this show! Gretchen tells her story with a lot of humor and grace. Her “witchy” ways really shine through as she tells her story.
