I liked the characters as developed. The acting skills were really good and talented and I was connected to the characters. I liked how effectively the script evoked a wide range of emotions within me.
What I didn't like
I have no criticism at all.
My overall impression
Kylee Q Robinson’s play, “In the Beginning,” takes the audience on a journey through the Biblical origins of life story. This script masterfully takes the viewer through a full range of emotional responses to events in the characters lives. From laugh-out-loud humor to heartbreaking sadness, from anger at God to richly experiencing His love and mercy. The play creatively fills in gaps in the Biblical narrative with imaginative descriptions of events throughout the lives of Adam and Eve. The viewer will be thinking about theological questions and will have your traditional view challenged.
