What I liked

What I loved most was how it balanced humor with something much deeper without ever feeling uneven. The puppetry really worked for me—it brought a kind of unexpected playfulness that made the heavier moments land even harder. I also really responded to how clearly guided the piece felt; the writing and direction had a strong hand, and you could feel that confidence throughout.

My overall impression

I left feeling really moved and honestly kind of surprised by how much it stayed with me. It’s one of those pieces where you can feel the care and intention behind every moment, but it never feels forced. I found myself laughing more than I expected—especially with the puppetry—but then getting pulled into something much deeper without even realizing it. What really landed for me was how grounded and human it all felt, especially through Eve’s experience. It didn’t feel like it was trying to prove anything, just letting her story unfold in a way that felt real and lived. By the end, I was emotional, a little shaken in a good way, and really impressed by how fully it all came together.
