I like that you can connect with the characters in this piece. There can be a relatable version of both a man and a women that show basic & complex human feelings and needs.
What I didn't like
My only critique is the parts with the puppets became a little hard to follow. I think that there should be possibly more sporadic moments with them, instead of a couple longish scenes with them.
My overall impression
Over this last weekend I had the pleasure of viewing a few of the different productions at the Hollywood Fringe Festival, and “In the Beginning” is the one that stood out to me by far. It had a very professional feeling and story behind it. This is a piece that makes you think back to the views and stories that have been for centuries. The actors in this production did a wonderful job of capturing the vibe and essence of each character.
