Kudos to the actors playing Adam and Eve for being so comfortable in their own skin. Eve aka Laurel Preston really shines in this show.
What I didn't like
this is a venue improvement that has nothing to do with the show itself.
At 15 minutes to show the Zephyr’s gate was still closed and locked. The ticketing person arrived with no urgency. I overheard them ask what I believe the tech person if the show started at 12:45 and after hearing yes they said “well, that’s unfortunate. I just got here” They were then rather curt with the patrons who had all lined up outside the gate and were patiently and quietly waiting for them to be ready with no complaints. So if the theatre management is reading this, it would be great if times are perhaps communicated better with the assigned staff.
My overall impression
Kylee Q Robinson gives us a reimagined take on the Adam and Eve story.
This is a well thought out piece that brings questions, heart and humor together to bring us a story we are all familiar with in one way or another regardless of our own religious journey but with a modern lens and perspective of what if we actually heard more about Eve’s story with her thoughts and feelings on display.
