What I liked
I loved the pacing from moment to moment with light transitions and soundscape to quickly move us through moments and keep us on our toes throughout. And Brendan’s use of the stage, varying his rhythm to really let the emotional beats land but bringing us back into a laugh when we needed that tension release as well.
What I didn't like
I was worried you were going to suffocate in that helmet! I kept looking for a hole Lol but then, that’s the tension build of it all :)
My overall impression
Beautiful in every way! All at once laugh out loud hilarious, confronting & honest, Brendan’s performance is gutting in the best possible way. His layers as an actor and comedian are perfectly showcased in this brilliantly crafted and well written vulnerable piece. Incredibly entertaining from lights up to blackout!
