What I liked
How truly funny Brendan is. Great performer. Makes the audience so at ease and I really didn’t see where the show was going. It’s also incredibly authentic.
What I didn't like
Genuinely nothing.
My overall impression
This show is so incredibly funny. Its simple premise allows Brendan to immediately draw the audience in and make them feel at ease, like we are all really hanging out on a submersible. I am even hesitant to share much more because I think The Abyss just needs to be experienced. It’s an expertly crafted solo show that truly takes you along a journey with the performer. The Abyss is the definitive example of the form.
