What I liked
I loved the blending of surreal sci-fi elements with traditional standup/storytelling. Made me wish more standup shows would take risks like this!
What I didn't like
Truly nothing other than it could be longer!
My overall impression
This is one of my top fringe shows this year. The writing is so tight, the jokes hit so hard, and Brendan’s delivery is flawless. And then it all culminates in a heart wrenching story and tone shift you don’t see coming, and yet feels inevitable after the incredibly well crafted storytelling that preceded it. Just an immaculate, touching, hilarious show.
