The pace, the joke density, the thoughtfulness and even a bit of world building.
What I didn't like
I think it could all be bigger, the sets and the staging, but that’s a limitation of the festival not Brendan.
My overall impression
I’ve had the pleasure of knowing and working with Brendan for over a decade, and this show is such an incredible distillation of Brendan’s journey as a comedian, son, and brother. His show is at once laugh out loud hilarious and a gut punch emotionally— not an easy needle to thread but Brendan does it effortlessly in this show. If you want to get in on the ground floor of a project that feels like it’s about to launch someone into the stratosphere, catch this show any time you can.
