What I liked
I’m surprised by how immersed I was! I really did feel like I was on this strange journey into the abyss with Brendan — imagining myself in this wacky submersible, I’d have felt relieved having such a personable travel companion to distract me from thoughts of implosion.
What I didn't like
This show will only get better.
My overall impression
I really loved this show! I thought Brendan did a really impressive job navigating us into raw subject matter with great pacing, balance, and a very playful framing device. The show blends tragedy and true silliness in a way that makes clear just how much work went into it. I’m so glad I saw it, and I’ll be thinking of it for a good while. Do not miss this.
