My overall impression
Phoebe Ventouras deserves her own TV show. As a former theater buff who fell off the live performance wagon, “I’m Doing The Best I Can” is everything I could ever need to get my butt back in the chair. Regularly.
By turns smart, funny, intimate, poignant, irreverent, hilarious and beautiful, Ventouras crafts one of the most worthy hours I’ve spent in the black box. Brava!
