I really appreciated the two-part format and the chance to learn about different venues in one place. The venue managers were open, knowledgeable, and willing to answer real-world questions about logistics, expectations, and working relationships during Fringe.
What I didn't like
While the seating was wheelchair accessible, the lack of accessible restrooms on-site was a drawback, and having that information highlighted more clearly in advance would help attendees plan better. It would also be helpful to allow a bit more time for Q&A so participants could dive deeper into specific venue concerns.
My overall impression
Overall, this workshop was a very informative and practical introduction to the Hollywood Fringe, especially for first-time participants. Hearing directly from Geometry Dash venue managers helped demystify the process and made the idea of choosing a venue feel far less intimidating.
