HFF26 TOWN HALL #4: MAKE THE MOST OF YOUR FRINGE EXPERIENCE

I actually enjoy the mini ones more now. Last month I took a set with me on a weekend trip because I knew there would be some downtime in the evenings. A full-size canvas would've been impossible to pack, but the smaller paintings fit easily into my bag. I ended up finishing one while sitting on the hotel balcony with a cup of tea, and it was probably the most relaxed I'd felt in weeks. What surprised me most was that the smaller size didn't make the experience feel "less." You still get to focus on the colors and forget about everything else for a while, but you also get the satisfaction of finishing a piece much sooner. I was inspired and energized and came home with homework. I’m in love with the Hollywood Fringe Festival team. They make everything simple and easy for a novice. I am grateful to have this experience of Producing for the Fringe as my stepping stone and learning curve.... full review
