What I liked
I really appreciated the chance to hear directly from venue managers, as it made the process feel more transparent and less intimidating. The combination of a moderated panel and Q&A session worked well, allowing for both structured information and real audience concerns to be addressed. The meet & greet portion was especially valuable for networking and building connections. I also liked that the event was available digitally, making it more accessible to a wider audience.
What I didn't like
While the workshop covered a lot of useful information, it could be even better with more specific examples or case studies from past Fringe shows. Additionally, clearer guidance on choosing the “right” venue based on different types of performances would help attendees make more confident decisions. Expanding accessibility options on-site would also improve the overall experience.
My overall impression
This workshop felt like a practical and welcoming introduction for anyone preparing to join the Hollywood Fringe. It offered clear insights into how venues operate and helped reduce the uncertainty that Smash Karts Game many first-time participants might feel. Overall, it was informative, accessible, and well worth attending.
