What I liked
I really appreciated the structured format, starting with a moderated panel and Q&A, then moving into a meet-and-greet session. It created a nice balance between learning and networking. Hearing directly from venue managers gave real-world context that you can’t always get from reading guides. The option to watch the recording on YouTube or listen via podcast also makes it accessible and convenient for different audiences.
What I didn't like
While the information shared was helpful, it would be even better to include more concrete examples, such as pricing ranges, technical capabilities, or case studies from past Fringe shows. Additionally, improving on-site accessibility—especially restroom access—would make the event more inclusive for all attendees.
My overall impression
This workshop felt like a genuinely valuable and practical introduction for anyone preparing to join the Hollywood Fringe Festival, especially first-time participants. It offered clear insights into how venues operate and what to expect when collaborating with them, making the Ragdoll Hit whole Fringe process feel less overwhelming and more approachable.
