My overall impression
All These Pretty Things wasn’t originally on my HFF schedule, but after hearing so many glowing recommendations, I decided to catch it since I arrived at the theater early. I’m so glad I did.
This is a deeply moving story of unimaginable heartbreak, told with honesty, humor, and grace. As I fought back tears (and even a little anger at times), I also found myself laughing thanks to Tracey’s sharp wit and engaging storytelling. The show is beautifully elevated with original music, with Ms. Yarad delivering each song with considerable emotion and vocal ability.
Do yourself a favor, buy the ticket and see this show. You won’t regret it.
