About the Project
Hear the poetry of Charles Bukowski, a well known California writer, set to song by award winning composer Persis Anne Vehar and sung by Lincoln Center Award winner Valerian Ruminski who protrays the poet. Famous poems like Spring Swan, 2 Carnations, Bluebird and Roll the Dice are performed as vignettes with costumes and props. Interspliced between the songs are dramatic moments culled from the words of Bukowski.
