It is her personal story, told with a strength, purpose, vulnerability and conviction. This is a woman who has fought and continues to fight for the right to express herself. A theme that is both specific and universal. There were only two audience members, yet she handled her role(s) with complete conviction.
What I didn't like
Nothing.
My overall impression
LOVED it! Go see this show! A beautifully written and performed show that will remind Americans not to take freedom for granted. Mozhdeh takes the audience into the world of an Iranian artist, a close up view of censorship and the rigid, controlling treatment of women. Subtle and direct at the same time. More people need to see this show!! Go.
