Magic and comedy? It can't get better than that! Leeman and David are an amazing duo that makes the show so magical and funny! It's a nonstop laugh fest with little punches here and there. Their last illusion is incredible! At the end of the show you sit there wanting more. This is a must watch show if you want superb entertainment. Don't miss out! It's a MUST SEE!!!!... full review

I'm often not impressed by standard magic acts, which is why I was so glad to see the new spin that David and Leeman have so successfully developed. The magic is unique, and very well done, and the comedy is inherent in their presentation. This is not close-up magic (as another reviewer mistakenly called it), it's a stage show with comedy/magic routines unlike anything I've seen performed before.... full review

'David and Leeman: How to Convincingly Fake Honesty' is a great time all-around. The banter between the two and the audience is quick-paced, the comedic moments have great timing, and the magic is well-performed and highly entertaining. It's well worth the ticket price, and I expect that I will probably go again because the entertainment value was so high.... full review

Great show, it was fast-paced, energetic and engaging. Both David and Leeman were funny and very good at interacting with the audience. There did not seem a point where their energy or excitement to entertain was diminished. Great show for a group of friends.... full review

Both these guys have incredible stage charisma. Their interaction with the audience was pleasant and made us want to be a part of the show where most other magicians make you cringe at the thought. The show was fast paced and never lagged. It's a show where you can sit back, not care about how they do it, and let their magic blow your mind. I could not recommend this show enough. Top Notch. ... full review

David & Leeman are 2 local magicians who have managed to come up with a ridiculously funny stage performance that syncs perfectly together. Here we have two talented young magicians who expertly produce several magic routines, but are somewhat upstaged by the fast and furious banter that goes on between them. But that isn't necessarily a bad thing, as it makes the show that much more enjoyable and elevates the characters to a whole new level. As a Magic Castle member who has seen literally hundreds of performances, this is definitely something special and easily in my top ten. Their quick banter and the way the personalities play against each other are the highlights, providing us with something different from any other magic show. Using ... full review

***This review first appeared in LA Weekly*** For their slick and comical magic show David & Leeman: How to Convincingly Fake Honesty, our two card sharps pour forth a constant stream of smooth patter that is as perfectly timed as their split-second feats of prestidigitation, dexterous legerdemain, sleight-of-hand card tricks and stunts (they explain the difference), sight gags and silly bits of comedy. Frequently calling on the audience to participate, they delight with a series of miraculous routines. The three loose acts include a Dada-inspired entre'acte, and the swift 45-minute show concludes with an elaborate tribute to the charlatan spiritualists who spooked the early 19th century.
