More Joy: A Mumoir is a triumph. Suz’s one-woman show is raw, radiant, and unforgettable. I was completely riveted from start to finish—blown away by the honesty, humor, and deep emotional truth she brought to the stage. I laughed out loud, and I cried literal tears. Her story moved me not just as a witness, but as someone also on a journey to reclaim my own joy. It was a powerful reminder of what it means to lose yourself—and to bravely, actively go looking for what lights you back up. This show is a beautiful, brave offering. A celebration of motherhood, identity, and the universal quest to feel alive again. Thank you, Suz, for reminding us what’s possible when we choose joy.... full review

This show was so full of light and fun! As Suzannah navigates the joys and perils of new motherhood, she invites us in to gasp, laugh, and dream along with her. It's tender, vulnerable, sweet and funny, and you'll leave the show with a yearning to discover your own joy. Whether it's motherhood, career changes or moving to a different country, Suzannah implores us to pursue the spark of joy through it all. And when we find it, to promise to keep it lit. ... full review

I love that Suz's show has an impact beyond making us laugh at her being vulnerable about aspects of her life. Our "failures" and those moments where we judge and shame ourselves too harshly, whenever we're alone? Suz turns those over into such hilarious and relatable moments. She models what it's like to be empowered and emboldened in the messiness we all are. This show has the power to heal people from their shame when we're not always perfect: if we all had this, the world would be so much more kind and present and supportive!... full review

Absolutely loved this. The writing was excellent. Suz stage presence and character acting is excellent. Watch out Mike Birbiglia, there’s a new storyteller in town. And she’s a badass mom/editor/comedian/joyseeker/foodie. This show should be made into a netflix series yesterday. I’ll be watching!!... full review

Suzannah Butcher is such a star and More Joy: A Mumoir is a perfect illustration of her acting, storytelling and comedy talent, not to mention her undeniable likability. The show is hilarious and honest from start to finish, not a single dull moment. Every mother will see themselves in Suzannah’s struggle to find herself again. Every human, who has gone through a difficult period and desperately wanted to once again connect with what makes them feel alive, will be inspired by the uproarious account of her journey. 5 Stars for More Joy: A Mumoir. ... full review
