What I liked
The moments where she slowed down and connected with us to her human experience. I was right with her throughout the performance. There was a scene where Patricia discussed losing her mother, that scene was powerful, devastating, and so human.
What I didn't like
I wanted MORE! There were moments where the music made it a little difficult to hear the performance, but it wasn’t something that distracted me for long.
My overall impression
This performance was so profoundly moving. The text was so powerful. The performance was authentic and made the audience feel connected to her. I kept looking around to see if the other people in the audience were as devastated and joyful at times as me. They always were. It was an incredible experience.
