I loved the optimistic tone and the clever writing. Even though theres only one actor, there are a dozen or so characters. And all of them are specific and fully realized. I liked the gentle political commentary on immigration, which felt compassionate and not heavy handed. I was in awe of the mastery of accents and mannerisms, and of the memorization. This felt like a full play in its scope and range, more than a one man show (which tend to be focused on one personality)

A delightful hour. A feel good Ted Lasso-esque play about a Russian immigrant who finds community in a small british village. Great writing, great characters. I forgot I was watching a one man show
