It’s rare these days to see a show that presents a different side of Russians—not the usual stereotypes of criminals or mafia members, but something more human and nuanced. As a Russian myself, I’m especially grateful for that. Although Andrew is British, his command of the Russian language is remarkable, and he delivers a true masterclass in British dialects. This was a captuvating, Reflective story about a man's journey traveling to a new country undocumented to find a better life. A Comical and light hearted story while staying grounded in the tough realities people escaping an oppressive homeland face when entering a foreign society that doesn't always immediately accept them.
