What I liked
The mask work is superbly done, and Ell’s playful vulnerability was incredibly compelling. I also loved, loved, loved the aesthetics of the set pieces, costumes & masks. This is what art is all about!
What I didn't like
The spit moment was truly shocking, and some people might need to look away if they’ve got a weak stomach!
My overall impression
This is a truly beautiful, powerful, and wholly original clown piece. Ell is a visionary artist and crafts an incredibly whimsical, immersive, and playful experience with such care and vulnerability. You’ll fall in love with this little gay bug!
