What I didn't like

I didn’t experience anything that didn’t work.

My overall impression

Janora McDuffie’s one-woman show, Earth, Wind and Car Fire, is a heartfelt journey through the pivotal moments of her life. From discovering her sexual orientation to her activism against police violence targeting the Black community, and ultimately finding love when she least expected it, McDuffie shares her story with raw honesty and vibrant humor.

Her writing is a powerful blend of wit and vulnerability, moving the audience to laughter, tears, and deep reflection. McDuffie’s performance is impeccable—full of charisma, timing, and emotional depth. Earth, Wind and Car Fire is not just a performance; it’s an experience that stays with you long after the final bow.
