Julia is a delight to watch. And in this hour she demonstrates all her talents – standup, writing, and dramatic acting. It was powerful to watch her shift from the high energy of the standup persona to the complexities of the person behind the performer – when you’re alone and all you have are your memories, traumas, and regrets. She does a great job inviting the audience to consider their own messiness – and it works well within the world she creates onstage. Well done!
