What I liked

As Brazilian-American I loved how she described a bit of herself and her experience from an immigrant pov living in the US and the overall message that life is messy and it’s okay. Noone has it perfect!

Well done Julian and production team!

What I didn't like

It took me a bit of time to understand the part after mentioning the grandmother and when she went upstairs, so maybe after that scene, it could be a clear explanation on what went through her emotions and feelings for that part.

My overall impression

I thought Julia delivered a great performance, and I definitely encourage others to see it. She’s funny, sassy, moving, and emotionally sharp. I loved the intimate and cozy feel of the theater, the thoughtful set design, and how everything ran on time and was executed professionally.
