As a musician I enjoyed that the songs were more than extremely simple songs with two chords. While the songs were not intricate (that would have detracted from the point) but who doesn’t love a nice 7th chord when hearing about gators? All of the props added to the show greatly, the delivery was earnest and playful at the same time. Great show all around.
What I didn't like
Nothing? Maybe the sport of tennis, but that’s not on Sandy McCloud
My overall impression
Certainly had the panache of a pro golfer who has been hitting over par in life. The stage presence was there. The loneliness was there. The golf gear was there. The show felt like a very honest look at his life and career with all of the downs thoughtfully displayed, but the show moved along quickly. It never once dragged or missed the mark.
