Sandy McCloud is an amalgamation of Lou Reed, a feral animal and Jimmy Buffet. It as a solo show to put all others to shame. Lane as an amazing character comedian and clown shines in this format. This was a show in a small theater that had laughter bouncing off the walls every second. This show feels like going to see a recent Frankie Valli show. Certainly had the panache of a pro golfer who has been hitting over par in life. The stage presence was there. The loneliness was there. The golf gear was there. The show felt like a very honest look at his life and career with all of the downs thoughtfully displayed, but the show moved along quickly. It never once dragged or missed the mark.... full review
