Sandy McCloud is an amalgamation of Lou Reed, a feral animal and Jimmy Buffet. It as a solo show to put all others to shame. Lane as an amazing character comedian and clown shines in this format. This was a show in a small theater that had laughter bouncing off the walls every second. This show feels like going to see a recent Frankie Valli show. Sandy McCloud ripped my guts up. He took his classics and recreated them with a new gusto. Far from a farewell tour, McCloud demonstrates he has more than enough vigor to play beyond his 18th hole. An honest portrayal of loneliness in a social sport....
