What I liked
One of my favorite things about this play was Jamar showing up as himself in the end. The raw, vulnerability was undoubtedly the cherry on top for this performance.
What I didn't like
Honestly my only note is about the seating arrangements aside from that everything was perfect.
My overall impression
This show genuinely tugged at my heart, soul and emotions. As a black woman who’s struggled with identity and feeling like I never belonged, Jamar Gilbert captured that struggle amazingly. I was blown away by his performance and ability to portray different perspectives.
