What I liked
I loved the acting number one and number 2 the production value !! The director and producer did not overdue it with the set design and costume and it made everything raw and genuine!!
What I didn't like
Have more shows!!! I need these to run for months!!
My overall impression
This show was intentional and most importantly “necessary.” What bought tears to my eyes is the subject matter and seeing someone that looks like me do what I want to do and doing it soo freely! Art has no boundaries but it’s does have connections in which we all can coexist in!! Witnessing a diverse audience share the same air , the same experience within those theater walls, the same silence , the same introspection…was captivating!! I loved Jalen’s ability to shape-shift into the lives of so many people that we know and his ability to not beret us with a worldly agenda but to SHOW US BY LIVING TRUEFULLY THROUGH THOSE BEAUTIFUL CHARACTERS !!! The sound and lighting was extremely impactful and the simplicity is what really made the atmosphere top tier!! Jalen you bet not ever stop acting do you hear me!! You are so valuable and we need these stories!!! Keep shining!
