What I liked
I really liked the script. And the actor who played the Ai was fantastic and carried the show. Not only was he perfect at adopting the staccato and tone of an ai voice, he was extremely present and great at emoting. He was a pure delight to watch!
What I didn't like
This is a total nitpicky actor/director note and just my personal opinion: I wanted to see a little more connection and genuine emotion from the main actor. He was very good at conveying the character’s snarky attitude, but i would have traded some of that for more grounded intimate, vulnerable moments – maybe just a bit more eye contact with the other actors. There were some pivotal emotional moments that could have been a little more believable if we could really see the excitement or joy or grief in his eyes, voice, and energy. Just my opinion and not meant to offend anyone! It was clear that all 3 actors worked very hard to make this a pretty engaging and seamless performance.
My overall impression
This was a very well done, funny, and touching show.
