I was most impressed with the immersion the cast, crew and script created. This really felt like a world that was thoroughly built for the audience to be easily able to step into.
What I didn't like
Nothing…. other than the fact that this play needs to never come true.
My overall impression
One of the most chilling things about watching The Meeting is knowing that this is not hyperbole anymore. It’s not overdramatic and it’s not hysterical thinking for us to consider a moment in time where art and artists are banned. Incredibly poignant, varied and dynamic and very well acted – all around an incredible piece of art. This play should continue it’s run well into the changing times ahead: it is art with a message that is vital and necessary.
