What I liked
I loved how the play examined the theme from so many different angles. The performers were all excellent; they really sold you on this world. The writing had a lot tension built into it which kept you in a state of low-key fear.
What I didn't like
The letter to mom went on too long. Tighten it up and it will be perfect.
My overall impression
A moving piece that couldn’t be more timely. The Meeting explores why humans are compelled to create art and what happens to us as individuals, and as a society, when creative outlets are controlled and prohibited.
