Great use of music and videos to link the beats together, and some fun back-of-house banter with the producer Lester Bullock.
What I didn't like
The initial video montage was a little long and didn’t help with the pacing. Probably needed about one of the bits cut out.
My overall impression
Year of Fear is a one-and-a-half-man show lovingly crafted by Weston Woods and produced by Lester Bullock, filled to the brim with improv, clown, and a playful sense of breaking the 4th wall. You’re in for a night of audience participation, meta commentary on the fear of failure as a performer, bizarre video testimonials, a heartfelt dance sequence, and life-changing personal fear coaching.
