What I liked
John really opened up about his life and the interesting and unconventional paths he took at times. He handled awkward parts very well! He also explored his own roots and parental relationships with vulnerability.
I liked when he danced a few times, especially at the end with that longer dance!
What I didn't like
I know it’s a workshop production so maybe there will be more movement and less reliance on notes as it evolves. There was an interesting part where he almost asked someone out who could be a suitable girlfriend but he balked and then (now at least) recognized his own fears of intimacy. I would like to see more of this explored, maybe with other close calls too. I think this could be a way to go even deeper if he chooses to.
