I liked seeing how much joy Natalie has performing. She’s a very giving clown.
What I didn't like
I think the narrative of this show could be serviced better by emphasizing the personal and less on the macro, current events. This experience was clearly deeply impactful for Natalie and I’d love to know more about her takeaway from these events.
My overall impression
Natalie is a clown that shines when she’s in the ‘flop’. Though this is clearly a WIP, Natalie’s strength is in her connection to her audience and the ongoing dialogue she has with them. This show speaks honestly about the mental health journey of young artists. It’s a coming-of-artist and self show.
