What I liked
I especially loved the way Kevin connected with the audience and even invited us to join in the show in some ways at the beginning and end. I also enjoyed the way the show was bookended with corporate zoom calls. This made the ending of the show feel even more cathartic as our main character fully embraced his real self and let go of people pleasing. Additionally, the music during the transitions and at the end was an extra touch on an already gratifying show that I really enjoyed.
What I didn't like
Nothing, this show was very polished, funny, inspiring and extremely engaging. I would love to see The Exit Interview on tour!
My overall impression
The Exit Interview was exceptionally hilarious while also being genuine and heartfelt. Kevin took us on a journey of moving from place to place during his adolescence while fully capturing the essence of each destination with levity and wit.
