By way of disclaimer, I have seen Mikkel perform before and know her to be good at creating distinct characters with a comedic bent. This time she also got to show her vulnerable side with some excellent writing that stands on its own. Although this is a very personal show and Mikkel brings her own personality to the piece, I could imagine someone else performing these characters, too – the writing is that good. I usually avoid one-person shows but I really enjoyed this one.
What I didn't like
Only since you won’t let me post without a comment here, I was distracted by the pipe smoking
My overall impression
Creative and heartfelt one-woman show by a talented performer with something to say!
