I liked the use of the props. Each item helped to move the story forward. Given the constraints of space didn’t hinder Christina in making us envision each different location. Her emotional vulnerability connected with the audience in a strong and relatable way.
What I didn't like
The section where Christina passes out on the floor was a bit difficult to see her. She was far downstage and the people in front of me blocked my view. I was in the second row. It wasn’t a big deal. I just had to crane my neck a bit. It did not hurt the story at all.
My overall impression
I was very moved by Christina’s performance. She opened up her life to the audience and gave us a glimpse into her journey through health and relationship struggles and victories. A brave, touching story told by a gutsy and skilled actress. A great night at the theater.
