What I liked
The historical info sprinkled with hilarious banter (great pianist!) and the revealing and vulnerable stories of Meade’s own life and journey.
What I didn't like
Everything worked. Just the right amount of show and tell and singing and banter. If possible, some video (or even audio) footage of the original Ms. Tucker might be a nice complement at the end
My overall impression
Marvelous and moving! The extremely talented Laural Meade evocatively and provocatively channels and interprets Sophie Tucker and her music and humor with great panache, heart, and an incredible voice. A must-see!
