I thought the involvement of the audience in the show was amazing. The rapport between Laural Meade, Fred Cassidy (piano accompanist), and the audience enhanced the experience. Witty songs and anecdotes from Sophie Tucker’s life were highly entertaining. The venue of the LA LGBT Village Center was a great setting for this show.
What I didn't like
Have more performances so that more people can enjoy this production.
My overall impression
This show was well researched and beautifully presented. Part portrayal and part biography, Laural Meade created a beautiful production. I’m so glad that I was able to see this presentation.
