I loved it all! The set design, costuming and puppetry all coordinated to create a cohesive world that transports the audience to the peanut patch. I cannot believe they were able to jam all that story into a 1 hour block, so impressive!
What I didn't like
I wish the leading man sang.
My overall impression
I knew that a show from the mind of Spencer Wright was going to make me cry with laughter and challenge my perspective in a new way; but I was not prepared for the professionalism and polish the cast and crew brought to this performance! If you are local to LA or making a trip out for the Fringe Festival, A Funeral at the Peanut Patch is a must see!
