A Funeral at the Peanut Patch

What I liked

The production design really stood out–from the soft and fuzzy set, to the adorably twisted puppet, to the hand-held title cards. There was a laugh a minute, and it was delightful to step into this cohesive and charming world for an hour that flew by! Hats off to the cast and crew.

What I didn't like

Some of the more earnest moments felt a bit tonally dissonant from the laugh riot, at times cartoonish comedy of the show. That said, the performers pull it back just as it veers too heavy-handed. Hardly much to say in this category—it was a very well-executed piece.

My overall impression

This show was inventive, funny, and uniquely of its own world. One to watch in the Fringe sphere!
