Everything was perfect. I loved the ambiance very much. A group of talented people coming under a small roof which so much talent. It’s a great space to get to know artists and is a perfect opportunity for collaborations. A special mention: they were bang on time, which I really appreciate and something to learn from.
What I didn't like
There were little pauses between dialogues at some instances, but I don’t know whether they were intentional or something that could be improved on.
My overall impression
A beautiful slice of life with incredible performances. It was my first time watching a Fringe show and I was pleasantly surprised by the immaculate presentation. The style of the play and the atmosphere was so well thought out. The lead actors, Spencer Wright and Emma Giallongo were able to bring out the essence of the whole story absolutely beautifully. Hats off to the director, Hannah Cairo, for bringing this piece of daily life to the audience in such a compelling and engaging manner. The script was crisp and funny, leaving the audience chuckling at every 10 seconds. Special mention to the elements involving ventriloquism – they were exceptionally impressive, skillfully executed and captivating; Spencer and Emma – take a bow! It was a wonderful experience for me to have watched this work of art. Kudos to the entire team – actors, director, producers and the entire creative team for putting up such a fantastic show. Congratulations, Gusth is super proud of you all!
