The writing was excellent. Such a smart idea to have the violin which helped to shift the characters focus with each simple stroke. Hailey was down right riveting. I particularly loved the slow unfurling of the tragic story, which happened with nuance and deep underlying pain.
What I didn't like
Great show and great interpretation of a classic
My overall impression
This was probably the best thing I’ve seen at Fringe this year. Hailey gives an incredible, layered and stunningly beautiful performance that kept the audience on the edge of their seats the entire time. Kudos to Rosie for creating simple yet bold lighting choices indicating shifts in time and location. These two make an dynamic duo and everything they create is pure theater magic.
