Everything worked here! I especially liked how Ilana Waniuk’s violin underscored Anna’s psyche and Russell Chow’s lighting design. An incredibly strong team headed by Rosie-Glen Lambert’s meticulous direction.
Also, I love when a wig just nails a character!!

and her Children hooks you from the start with Hailey McAfee’s undeniable charm and effortless command of the audience. What follows is an upsetting and relevant look at America’s dilemma over who to protect and who to silence.
If you are familiar with Brecht’s Mother Courage, you will enjoy the references and squirm over how history repeats itself.
