What I liked
The performance was strong in relaying a tough subject . The lighting enhanced the shift to shift emotional moments and was a seamless addition needed to move the story along.
What I didn't like
Could have been longer, but was told this was due to there was a 30 minute time limit as per festival rules.
My overall impression
Vanessa Verdugo gives an impressive performance of a Russian Madam who is telling her (!) side of what it’s like to walk on the dark side.
